Welcome to Our Church

Loving God &

Loving Others

Our Mission

Molding believers, influencing the world

Our mission is to evangelize souls, making them disciples of Christ – to be faithful sons and daughters of God, serving Him with passion and availability and above all, loving Him as our Father.

Our Vision

Molding believers, influencing the world

To be a strong territorial influence of Christ in the city and to help people journey with Christ for life, always upholding a gospel-centered view of life and ministry.

Our Core Beliefs

The Bible is inspired by God and is “the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct”.

There is only one true God who exists as a Trinity.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and, as the second person of the Trinity, is God.

Man was created good by God but was separated from God through original sin.

Salvation “is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ”.

There are two ordinances. Believer’s baptism by immersion is a declaration to the world that the believer has died and been raised together with Christ, becoming a new creation. The Lord’s Supper is a symbol expressing the believer’s sharing in the divine nature of Christ, a memorial of Christ’s suffering and death, and a prophecy of Christ’s second coming.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate and subsequent experience following conversion. Spirit baptism brings empowerment to live an overcoming Christian life and to be an effective witness.

Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Sanctification is, “…an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God.” It occurs when the believer identifies with, and has faith in, Christ in his death and resurrection. It is not believed to be a “second definite work of grace” as in some other Pentecostal denominations, but is understood to be a process in that it requires continual yielding to the Holy Spirit.

The Church’s mission is to seek and save all who are lost in sin; the Church is the Body of Christ and consists of all people who accept Christ, regardless of Christian denomination.

Divinely called and scripturally-ordained ministers serve the Church.

Divine healing of the sick is provided for in the atonement.

The “imminent and blessed hope” of the Church is its rapture preceding the bodily return of Christ to earth.

The rapture of the Church will be followed by the visible return of Christ and his reign on earth for a thousand years.

There will be a final judgment and eternal damnation for the “wicked dead”.

There will be future new heaven and a new earth “wherein dwelleth righteousness”.

Who is Evangel Tabernacle?

We are an independent Pentecostal church, a duly registered organization under the Securities Exchange Commission in the Philippines, and a member of the Philippines Council of the Evangelical Church (PCEC).
We are a gospel-centered church that believes that the gospel of grace in Jesus Christ changes everything, from our hearts to our community to the world. It completely reshapes our content, tone, and strategy in all that we do.

Members Testimonials

My name is Ma. Luisa Gumban. I was an illegal gambling runner. I had to do it because I needed to survive because I am not married. Despite I was caught by the authority twice, i still secretly did it. And finally on the 3rd time I was caught I was charged in court and was sentenced to 1 month imprisonment only due to my physical condition. But before my last hearing, I was invited to attend Evangel Tabernacle Harvest Month. On that day the sermon was Hope in the Lord so I brought my problem before God and hoped in Him. When my final appearance before the judge came, I brought my clothing for 1 month with me as I awaited the verdict. To my surprise I didn't have to be jailed. I was only asked to pay P2,000 and I am free. I knew it was God who heard my cry. Now I am happy and I already stopped my illegal activity. Since that day I faithfully come to Evangel Tabernacle because of what Jesus did for me. I give God the glory.
