My name is Ma. Luisa Gumban. I was an illegal gambling runner. I had to do it because I needed to survive because I am not married. Despite I was caught by the authority twice, i still secretly did it. And finally on the 3rd time I was caught I was charged in court and was sentenced to 1 month imprisonment only due to my physical condition. But before my last hearing, I was invited to attend Evangel Tabernacle Harvest Month. On that day the sermon was Hope in the Lord so I brought my problem before God and hoped in Him.
When my final appearance before the judge came, I brought my clothing for 1 month with me as I awaited the verdict. To my surprise I didn't have to be jailed. I was only asked to pay P2,000 and I am free. I knew it was God who heard my cry.
Now I am happy and I already stopped my illegal activity. Since that day I faithfully come to Evangel Tabernacle because of what Jesus did for me. I give God the glory.
