A Parable of Our Calling
God called prophets to either prophesy in favor of, or against a group of people and nations.
God called prophets to either prophesy in favor of, or against a group of people and nations.
Revelation 21:5 says, ‘for these words are true and faithful.’
“Little by little” – we hate these words when it comes to our success, wealth, career development, character formation, answered prayers and victory.
When there numeration of pay/reward is proportional to our hard work, we call that JUSTICE.
Matthew 11:28-30:
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
The first seven verses of this psalm are one great cry of anguish. Three times (vv. 2, 3, 10) he used the word “vexed.” It’s literally in the Hebrew a word which means “troubled, terrified, faint, and weak.”
